Dress Code

Standard Dress Regulations

The following Dress Regulations apply on the course, practice fairway and in the Clubhouse and should be adhered to at all times.

Any person not adhering to the following regulations will not be permitted to play and will be refused entry to the clubhouse.



No sandshoes, running/athletic shoes, thongs, sandals or slipper-type footwear are permitted.

Trousers And Shorts

Shall be of the tailored variety. The following do not comply; any type of cargo pant, elastic or drawstring waist band, denim material, abbreviated or 3/4 length short.


Must have collars or roll-necks and not have stencilled pictures, sketching or wording.


Long walk socks or short socks must be worn with shorts, however, short socks must be predominantly white. Dark, coloured and ankle socks are not permitted.


Golf shoes must be worn at all times on the course. Metal spikes are prohibited. Trousers must not be tucked into socks. Shirts must be worn tucked in.



Allowed: Shirts must be tucked in unless specifically designed to be worn out and preferably have a collar. Sleeveless collared golf shirts, turtle and polo neck shirts are permitted.

Not allowed: Sun tops, track suit tops. Shirts must not have stencilled pictures, sketching or wording.

Skirts, Slacks, Shorts

Allowed: Tailored slacks, shorts, 3/4 pants are acceptable. Skirts and shorts should be no shorter than 10cm above the knee.

Not allowed: Denim jeans, track suit pants, leggings and cargo pants.


Allowed: Golf shoes must be worn on the course and soft spikes are compulsory. Ladies are permitted to wear socks other than white, which co-ordinate with their golfing attire.

Not allowed: Ripple sole shoes, track and gym type shoes and thongs.


Clean running or gym shoes are acceptable. Children’s attire should at all times be neat and appropriate to their usage of the Club’s facilities.

Function Dress Regulations

In general, the ‘Standard Dress Regulations’ should be adhered to within the precincts of the club with the following exceptions being permissible for those attending a gathering in the function area.

Club & Outside Functions

Those under the age of 14 years, the ‘Standard Dress Regulations’ do not apply and are permitted in the clubhouse dressed in ‘neat and tidy casual dress’. Shirts, if so designed, are not required to be tucked in.

The following items are NOT acceptable anywhere on course or in the Clubhouse:

  • Denim jeans, except for children under 14 years when neat, clean jeans are acceptable
  • Baggy pants, tie wasted pants board shorts
  • Leggings and stirrup pants
  • Cargo Pants
  • Tracksuits, except for tennis players
  • T-shirts or shirts without collars for men
  • Tank tops or singlet tops
  • Shirts worn outside trousers
  • Clothing with advertising or emblems except for discreet brand name logos
  • Trousers or slacks tucked into socks
  • Metal spikes
