Lunch or dinner at Amisfield is a degustation style exploration of the season’s best local produce. Dishes are created from the freshest seasonal ingredients that are inspiring the chefs. Co-located with the restaurant, Amisfield’s Cellar Door is open 7 days a week and enables visitors to sample a range of wines produced from Amisfield’s 93 ha organic vineyard and winery. The full range of current release wines are always available alongside intriguing library and special release wines. New Zealand’s 2020 Organic Winery of the Year, Amisfield is renowned for its Pinot Noir, but the vineyard also produces Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc and Pinot Blanc in a variety of styles. Signature wines are the Pinot Noir Rosé; the Fumé Blanc, a Sauvignon Blanc that ages 18 months in oak and RKV Reserve Pinot Noir, a powerful Pinot Noir made with fruit from a single block using vineyard fermentation.
