DENIS MCDADE
Denis McDade, the Director of Coaching at Peninsula Kingswood and a Director of BLM Golf Coaching has been a PGA of Australia Member for over 30 years.Renowned for his coaching excellence, Denis has received numerous accolades, including:
- Australian PGA Teacher of the Year (2012, 2017)
- Victorian PGA Teacher of the Year (2001, 2017, 2018)
- Australian Golf Digest Coach of the Year (2008, 2012)
Following three years competing professionally across Australia, Denis devoted himself fully to coaching. From 1997 to 2008, he played a key role in the Victorian Institute of Sport Golf Program, as Assistant Coach for five years and then as Head Coach for six.
Throughout his career, Denis has coached Touring Professionals who have won on every major PGA Tour worldwide, collectively earning over $75 million in prize money. His players include Marc Leishman, Marcus Fraser, Paul Sheehan, Matthew Griffin, Ashley Hall, Todd Sinnott, Cameron John and Gareth Paddison.
In 2005, Denis made history as the first PGA Member in the world to be invited to join the Advisory Board of the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI). He now leads the TPI Junior Advisory Board and delivers Junior Certification seminars internationally, educating coaches, medical professionals and fitness experts on junior golf development.
While Denis is best known for coaching world-class Touring Professionals, he has also dedicated more than three decades to helping recreational golfers, club players, junior golfers and elite amateurs reach their potential.

Stuart began playing golf at the age of 14 and, by 15, had progressed to Junior Pennant level with Moorabbin Municipal Golf Club.
In 1980, he joined Keysborough Golf Club as a Junior Member, spending two formative years developing his game.
In 1983, Stuart commenced his PGA traineeship at the prestigious Royal Melbourne Golf Club, completing the program in 1986. He then coached at Sandringham Driving Range and worked part-time at both Keysborough and Elsternwick Golf Clubs, gaining valuable experience in coaching and club operations.
Between 1985 and 1994, Stuart competed in numerous tournaments, including Victorian Pro-Am events, the Victorian Open, Victorian PGA, and the 1989 Australian Open at Kingston Heath.
In 1991, he was appointed Golf Shop Manager and Instructor at Peninsula Country Golf Club, marking the beginning of a long-standing connection with the club.
Today, Stuart brings his extensive experience and enduring passion for coaching to PK members and guests. He leads the PK Junior Golf Program, where he is dedicated to nurturing and developing the next generation of golfers.

ADAM SMITH
PGA Professional
Member of both the British and Australian PGA.
Adam brings a deep passion for the game and a calm, relaxed approach to coaching. While golf can seem complex when overanalysed, his teaching philosophy focuses on keeping it clear, simple and enjoyable.
Blending technical instruction with on-course learning, Adam helps players gain a broader understanding of the game – not just how to swing the club, but how to play. As he often says: “anyone can do it on the range!”

The Loop
A four-week, performance-based program that blends focused range practice with on-course strategy and decision-making. Designed to elevate both technical skills and course management, this 8-hour program is a fun and social way to improve your practice routines and ultimately your scores.
Coffee Club Clinics
Casual 90-minute weekly sessions in a relaxed, social setting. Small groups of 3-5 golfers work on skill-specific shots aimed at building confidence and consistency.
With an emphasis on practical learning and long-term progress, Adam works with players of all levels, helping them develop their game with confidence, clarity and enjoyment.
Adam is available for lessons Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays or by arrangement.
CAT ODGERS
PK Director of Sports
Member PGA of Australia
Cat completed her PGA traineeship at both Growling Frog Golf Club and Woodlands Golf Club, building a strong foundation in both coaching and competitive play.
Before turning professional, she spent four years playing college golf at Oklahoma Christian University, where she earned a Bachelor of Sports in Wellness and Recreational Management. During her collegiate career, Cat achieved All-American Honors (top 10) at the NCCAA National Championships and recorded multiple top five finishes in other events.
Cat brings a wealth of competitive experience and a strong passion for the game to every lesson. While she is available for both private and group tuition, her coaching availability is limited due to her responsibilities as PK’s Director of Sports.
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. 9am-4pm. Other times available via appointment. $75 (30mins), $135 (1 hour) Lesson Package on application.
TIM WALKER

A familiar and friendly face at Peninsula Kingswood, Tim Walker is well known to members through his former role in the Golf Shop.
A full Member of the PGA of Australia, Tim is an accomplished tournament player with a playing category on the PGA Tour of Australasia, balancing competitive play and coaching with passion and professionalism.
Respected for his easy-going nature, strong playing credentials and deep understanding of the game, Tim has become a trusted coach among members. He has built a loyal following of players who have seen real improvement under his guidance and is committed to helping each golfer reach their full potential.
Tim leads the higher levels of the PK Junior Golf Program, where he plays an integral role in developing the next generation of elite golfers.

MARCUS FRASER
Member PGA Tour of Australasia
With over 22 years of tournament experience, Marcus Fraser brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to his clients.
Having played more than 500 professional tournaments worldwide—including 13 major championships—and representing Australia at the 2016 Rio Olympics, Marcus offers a unique perspective on competing at the highest level.
He is available for a range of specialised learning experiences, including putting, short game, and on-course improvement sessions. These provide members with the rare opportunity to refine their skills while playing and practicing alongside a seasoned Tour professional.
Driven by a passion for sharing his expertise, Marcus is committed to helping members elevate their game through personalised, experience-driven coaching.

Playing Lessons
Having trouble on the course, why not have an on course playing lesson and see the course from a professional’s point of view. Our PGA Professionals have helped many of their pupils through on course tuition, helping them understand where to position the ball around the course, playing to their strengths and also learning new shots on the course and around the greens. Prices available on request. Group Lessons can also be arranged, contact the Pro Shop for more information.
