Current Projects – Mahogany Rise Primary School
The Our Place education initiative aims to deliver improved educational outcomes for the children and families of disadvantaged communities – one of the 10 sites in Victoria is Frankston North which includes Mahogany Rise Primary School, Aldercourt Primary School and Monterey Secondary College
In partnership with the Department of Education, the Colman Foundation has committed a 10-year funding (from 2017). The “Our Place” model creates an integrated community resource that supports children and their families to succeed. Other notable philanthropic supporters include the Ramsay Foundation, William Buckland Foundation and Besen Family Foundation.
Current Project – Living Free Project
The Stepping Up Consortium is made up of three not-for-profit agencies, Odyssey House Victoria, TaskForce and Youth Projects. The three agencies work together to provide innovative counselling and rehabilitation services for Victorians experiencing substance misuse and mental health issues.
The Living Free Project is a targeted integrated response to vulnerable young females aged 10-17 years who have been reported missing and women 18-30 years in contact with the justice system.
Other notable philanthropic supporters include, Gandel Philanthropy and Ian Potter Foundation along with the Victorian Legal Service Board Grants Program. To find out more click here.
